Can you have it not verify the connection and see if you can send mail?
Just wondering if the verification is simply failing for some reason.

Does the mail server require a password? Are there any other restrictions
on the mail server side that would impact things?

Can you share the exact settings you're using (or some dummy equivalent
thereof I suppose since you wouldn't want to attract people hammering your
mail server)?

Is there something in an XML config file I need to edit/add?

If you open up /WEB-INF/bluedragon/bluedragon.xml and just do a find on
"mail" you'll see what the configuration looks like. If you can share that
(again obfuscating anything you don't want the general public to see) that
will help.

Thanks.
