I have a version of OpenBD ( 2,0,2 from 2012-01-01 10:14:17 GMT - Linux
i386 (2.6.24-19-server)) with mail set up to a named mail server running
Ubuntu and Sendmail version 8.14.2 (these are two different machines).
When I entered the info in the CF Administrator, the result was "unable
to verify" (possibly because I do not use any credentials, the CFML
server is just allowed to relay by IP). There was no further explanation
- and nothing in the Admin's logs (at all - this is a pretty new setup).
However, the record was created and I've been able to send email this way.
This is probably not related to your issue, but worth documenting for
future search results.
