Morning All,

I have a server that I cycle each night to make sure the snapshot backup of
the device on Amazon cloud is performed correctly. At the time the machine
stops and the restarts I have a number of threads running on a continual
basis. If any of these threads stop during the course of the day a
scheduled task that runs ever 30 mins identifies the lack of a given thread
and restarts it.

when my server starts up obviously these threads have bee stopped and it
waits until the next scheduled task to start them back up again, what I
would like to do is on server start up run a script which spins up these
threads for me (it could happily be the same script my scheduled task
runs). This way I can restart the box knowing my threads will all be
running again within a minute or 2 rather than having to reboot the box
next to the closest scheduled thread check.

I am sure there is an OnStart script etc within the OpenBD server that will
allow me to carry out this simple task but can any one shed any light on
it, name, location, structure etc?

Many Thanks,

Lee
