Kind gentlemen and ladies,
Please regale me with stories - of how much CFMAIL you have pumped
through your single CFML server within some time period. I'd like to get
a general handle on capacity - even if your numbers are imprecise or
anecdotal.
I'll go first:
I had a CF 6.1 server on one Red Hat machine that would CFMAIL about 100
emails - every 6 minutes - to another Ubuntu machine running Sendmail.
Both machines had appx 350 mz processors (there's a date reference for ya).
With a setup like this, I was able to send to about 35,000 subscribers
in about 39 hours.
