I'm in that iffy part of the programming field, I'm self-taught, a few
years worth of modifying PHP CMSs and websites, a few years worth of web
designing, and now a junior CFML developer.

27 year old mid-level programmer, Junior CFML dev, that about sums me up I
guess.

I'm looking around to pick up a part time job as a CFML coder, I'm not
getting enough work on my own, but I'm running into the "We need a junior
dev with a BS in IT and 3+ years of experience, need to know Fusebox and
FW/1", etc. so I'm trying to think of ways to make myself more valuable in
the eyes of an employer.

I'll toss in some other things I do too, CSS, HTML, some JQuery and AJAX, a
bit of C but it's been a while.

Does any of you CFML gurus and old-timers have any advice on where I should
spend my time expanding?
My CFML experience so far is newsletter systems, simple user managements
and my crowning jewel at the moment is a dynamic webshop with dynamically
handled articles (Admin CMS and PMS) with order tracking etc. etc. so where
do I go from here, with the aim of becoming worth hiring for someone
looking for a junior/mid level CFML dev?

I've thought about creating packages and snippets, sharing things is always
a good thing to get your name out there, but then I look at the code and
think "It's too simple. Why would anyone take me seriously for releasing
things that are this easy to make, it'll just make me look silly".

Sorry for the rambling, it's getting late and I'm tired.
