RDMS (or RDBMS) is Relation Database Management System. This would include the likes of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostGres, and others. If you know SQL, then you can work with any RDBMS (with a little understanding of the differences in SQL dialects and native functions).
