Mmm somewhat concerned here ... you went to the length of a signing up
to a mailing list and making a post to make a claim about a missing tag
that has been there from Day#0. Not only that, it is in CFSCRIPT form too!
Did you actually try the tag?
Did you look at the manual?

Maybe your question has come over wrong that has managed to confuse and
daze us all.
So let us take it from that point ... would hate for someone to pop up
and say "does not support <cfoutput> how can we get <cfoutput> in there?"
