| If V3 is almost the equivalent of CF10, what books should I read to use
| OpenBD properly given that the ORM and AJAX stuff is not the same?

Probably a recent CFWACK book (by Ben Forta) - ColdFusion Web Application
Construction Kit. It shouldn't matter too much if it is for CF8, 9 or 10 for
the basics - the advances in recent years have mostly been scripting and
rich media add-ons.

If built-in ORM compatible with ACF is important for you, than OpenBD is not
for you. Otherwise just skip that chapter in the book.

Same with Ajax, and focus on learning a good javascript library for client
(browser) side rich media - e.g. jquery, extjs, dojo. There are advantages
in having that loosely coupled with the backend.

Cheers,
Hugo
