Hi,

Our facility is looking to implement open BD, we wish to emulate some
aspects of BlueDragon.Net and need confirmation of some open BD features.

1. We would like to run .net files in the same site and root as the cfm /
cfc files are run - intermixed - whereas with BlueDragon.Net we can
simultaneously host cfm / cfc files and also host .net applications (as
virtual directories) or pages under the same host. We cannot seem to do
this with OpenBD.

Comments: When we do the install via web platform installer, it asks for a
site within IIS 7.x - cool, then asks for a folder name (if none given it
creates webapp), ok, we understand. at this point we can run cold fusion
files, great - expected that. Yet, we also want, under the same root, to
run .net files (aspx, ascx etc.), and by default we cannot do this.
Modifying the jetty Handler Mappings we can then run .net files, but the
general configuration is strange, where all the cfc / cfm files (only) have
to run under the webapp folder (and respective child folders), but all
other files (that are not cfm / cfc) have to be run at the root (including
images belonging to the openbd administration) etc.

Other items we wish to address:

a. how do we address the case sensitivity issue - can we instruct the site
to not be case sensitive.
b. what is the appropriate way to mix .net files and cfm / cfc files under
one site (this pertains to our major question) and if this is possible
would it all be under one session?
