Hi Alan, very interesting! I tried MongoVue which is a nice tool, but not very feature rich. I already installed the Eclipse plugin - but I am not able to find a MongoDb perspective or view? I also tried the database perspective, but MongoDb is not listed in the supported database drivers list. Maybe you could give me a hint?

You can install it to Eclipse (or download the pre-configured one) from: https://github.com/aw20/MongoWorkBench This plugin was inspired by the lack of good desktop tools for MongoDB. Tools such as MySQL/SQLServer Workbench are very popular with their scratch-pad feel of queries that you can simply select and then hit SHIFT-ENTER to execute makes developing queries extremely fast. I was jealous of that and wanted it for Mongo. There is a lot more here, including wizards to help the new Mongo users get to grips with some of the power of Mongo.
