Is there an advantage to openbdjam over the jetty install I am using? I thought it was mostly just ease of install.
We have about 700gig of pdf files stored and indexed. We add several thousand most days. We use FTP to transfer files between 20 us locations. Plus make most documents available to the public for viewing. The business is the printing of large format documents. I tried AWS a year or so back and didn't have any luck with the interfaces. And have yet to figure out what the month to month cost might be. Actual Usage: 4.838 Mbps in March. Luckily I only run into issues like this when trying something new. It is definitely not my specialty. I tried to find someone to help setup my servers, but failed to get a taker. So every 5 years or so I build a couple servers. Before the next time, you are probably right, I'll move to the cloud.
