So I've setup a dedicated 'minimal' Centos 6.4 64bit vm with Apache/TomCat/Java and it works fine.
Now I need to get OpenBD installed. I'm going to start trying to figure this out on my own but if someone has some direct advice I would be much appreciative! And thanks Mats! I actually was using Jetty at first but after my own research I decided tomcat was a better solution 'for me'. About the ram, I can change that whenever I want. I have a pretty nice dual quad core vmWare server with 48GB of ram. I was just trying to create a thin/functional centos image.
