Alan; Norman and I did a little work off-list. Except for the .cfm suffix, his example had NO cfml at all within. What his code DID have was an unprintable character hiding in there (ASCII 3). Here's a distilled excerpt from his file: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> </head> <body> <strong><!---General Projects Directory ---></strong> </body> </html> Not sure how if will translate through Google - and our different encoding and all, but the ASCII 3 is right after the letter 'y' in 'Directory'. This snippet produces the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. Remove the rogue char - and it works fine. So I'm not sure if this rises to the level of urgent bug, but it sure seems like an extreme reaction to me. Al Holden On 7/5/2013 10:28 AM, Norman Schklar
