It's my first attempt with openBD, looks promising
trying to migrate a coldfusion 9 application to openBD
my web app has a flex client communicating with CF9 via flash remoting
my preferable stack I thought about includes:
ubuntu server --- is there a way to install openBD using apt-get
rather having to use a browser?
nginx --- any install/config guide / advice there?
openBD --- does it support flash remoting out of the box?
MongoDB --- I'm wondering if json files returning to a flex
client will need openBD
to serialise it to flash remoting objects or
better serving it to the client and handle the json packets there....
and a couple more questions, since I'm new..
- how big is the user-base?
- did you have any thoughts about opening a G+ community?
could be fun and gain more exposure...
