Hi all
It's my first attempt with openBD, looks promising
trying to migrate a coldfusion 9 application to openBD
my web app has a flex client communicating with CF9 via flash remoting

my preferable stack I thought about includes:

ubuntu server --- is there a way to install openBD using apt-get rather having to use a browser?

no, not at the moment

nginx --- any install/config guide / advice there?

nothing out of the ordinary there, just proxy as if you would to any other backend

openBD --- does it support flash remoting out of the box?

nope, we attempted it, but with such few people using flash remoting it never was a priority

MongoDB --- I'm wondering if json files returning to a flex client will need openBD to serialise it to flash remoting objects or better serving it to the client and handle

this question may be null'n'void since we are not support flash remoting
