So you're not really updating, that's a fresh install... I tried it just
now and it worked fine.

You've got to troubleshoot it, few things to try below:

1. Use netstat to check if java is running and listening on port 8080:

# netstat -ntlp | grep java
> tcp        0      0 :::8080                     :::*
>  LISTEN      16711/java


2. Check if the java process running is the one you're expecting:

# ps axo pid,etime,cmd | grep java
> 16711       07:36 /opt/openbdjam/jdk/bin/java
> -Djetty.home=/opt/openbdjam/jetty -Djava.io.tmpdir=/tmp -jar
> /opt/openbdjam/jetty/start.jar --pre=etc/jetty-logging.xml



3. The logs you're looking for are under:

# ls /opt/openbdjam/jetty/logs/
> 2015_06_19.stderrout.log
