This message is directed to the Openbravo ERP Core developers:

As some of you might have noticed these days, the 3.0RC2 release
process has required us to extend some 2.50 modules to support 3.0.
"Extending" means that it will support to be installed in 2.50 and 3.0
at the same time. This has been done using an automatic tool in the
Central Repository, not available for developers yet. As common sense
suggests module owner's should be who extends their modules, and this
will become true in some time (probably before RC3 - through the Forge).

So if you see that there's a new version of your module, don't get
alarmed. Once 3.0RC2 is released you'll receive the complete list
of modules that have been extended, as well as simple steps on how
to update your Mercurial repositories with these changes.
