Core developers".
We are not publishing new versions of modules owned by other parties.
Can you please confirm?

Could somebody please share the URL of the instructions that third party
module authors can follow to extend the dependencies of their modules and
make them compatible with 3.0?
We have the first version of this document ready but I would like to
answer this question a bit later once we verify and approve these
instructions.
Anyway nowadays there is no 3.0 version available that can be used to
validate module work on top of it so I think it could wait for a while.

I understand that it is annoying restriction but for the moment it is
very important. It is a short term thing (couple of days) and we are not in
the process of massive publishing of some modules so I think it won´t create
a lot of overhead.
Please follow this rule.

process has required us to extend some 2.50 modules to support 3.0.
"Extending" means that it will support to be installed in 2.50 and
3.0
at the same time. This has been done using an automatic tool in the
Central Repository, not available for developers yet. As common
sense
suggests module owner's should be who extends their modules, and
this
will become true in some time (probably before RC3 - through the
Forge).
So if you see that there's a new version of your module, don't get
alarmed. Once 3.0RC2 is released you'll receive the complete list
of modules that have been extended, as well as simple steps on how
to update your Mercurial repositories with these changes.
