Hi,
I downloaded amd64 Current, dated 6/16/07 13:20.
I also downloaded libiconv-1.9.2p3.tgz at the same time,
as it's needed to install samba.
It was dated 6/4/2007 17:59.
I attempted to install it, and got the following:
rensseltuckynet# pkg_add -v /var/www/users/8u67f87uj/libiconv-
1.9.2p3.tgz
parsing /var/www/users/8u67f87uj/libiconv-1.9.2p3.tgz
Can't install libiconv-1.9.2p3: lib not found c.40.3
c.40.3: partial match in /usr/lib: major=41, minor=0 (bad major)
I then attempted to install it from the OpenBSD FTP site.
All the current packages are dated no newer than 6/4/2007,
and the version of libiconv-1.9.2p3 is still dated 6/4/2007 17:59.
So I did:
rensseltuckynet# pkg_add -v
ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/packages/amd64/libiconv-
1.9.2p3.tgz
parsing
ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/packages/amd64/libiconv-
1.9.2p3.tgz
Can't install libiconv-1.9.2p3: lib not found c.40.3
I still can't install libiconv-1.9.2p3.
Could sure use some help, as I don't know what to try next.
