Hi,
      I read the thread, and already had
socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_SNDBUF=8192 SO_RCVBUF=8192

So changed it to:

socket options = IPTOS_LOWDELAY TCP_NODELAY SO_SNDBUF=8192
SO_RCVBUF=8192

And that lowered a normally 35 second XP to XP write, that using
XP to Samba took 40 minutes, and lowered it to 27 minutes.

I also tried setting Write Raw and Read Raw to No, and that didn't
help.

So I'm still stuck trying to get XP to write to a Samba server at full
speed.
                                              Thanks,  Ed
