Sounds like a good idea to me...
I "discovered" two things:
1. all files which depends on config.xml are in etc or lib.
2. every additional option in config.xml reduce the performance
I will remove the dynamic translation from the major CGI scripts (ca, RAServer, node, ldap, pki). I will extend the script configure_etc to fix the lib area too. After the change we have the same or better flexibility but the performance during browsing should be better.
This change requires some changes in our Makefiles and in many sheets, so it can take some time.
