does it makes sense to remove the logging code from OpenCA::DBI? We implemented an independent logging facility (OpenCA::Log) and I think it makes no sense to have an additional log in the SQL databases.
If we remove the logging code from DBI then the database code should be much simpler (and easier to maintain). An additional advantage would be the recovery of databases because the recovery of OpenCA::DB and OpenCA::DBI works in the same way after the removal.
Any comments or ideas?
