Certificate Revocation
2003-07-23 22:37

 Hi all,
       I am using Openca0.9.0 rc 7. when i try to revoke a
certificate from the CA interface, it throws an error like this.

 Error 6841
General Error. Error while revoking Certificate! OpenCA::OpenSSL
returns errorcode 7732073 (OpenCA::OpenSSL->revoke: OpenSSL failed
 (256).)..

- i don't know to overcome this.

kindly help this newbie to get rid of it.

thanx in advance.

-vimal

I encountered the same problem
I found the following point

1) The error ocuurs while executing an OpenSSl command such as

/usr/local/openssl/bin/openssl ca -revoke \/usr\/local\/openca\.0\.9\.2\/openca\/var\/tmp\/14446_3_cert\.pem -config /usr/local/openca.0.9.2/openca/etc/openssl/openssl.cnf -passin env:pwd

2) Separate execution of command failed because the the temporary copy of the certificate namely the file

/usr\/local\/openca\.0\.9\.2\/openca\/var\/tmp\/14446_3_cert\.pem

does not exists

3) I does not know why the the name of the file has been built while the the is not created

Thank you for your help

Dominique
