Actually results are _REALLY_ not so bad...
Anyway I replaced DBI.conf by an XML file. The slowest things are the object instantiation and the loading of initDBI. It looks like the absolute slowest thing is the loading of library files. It looks like the major problem is my small number of RAM so that my disk is not cached.
Perhaps we must take more care about the loading of additional files.
