Im using mysql 4.0
Which OpenCA version do you use? I commited yesterday a lot of stuff for DBI.pm to support sequences. I also splitted some functions to make the code more readable. Please activate debugging and check var/log/stderr.log for messages from your mysql database. Perhaps the mysql database itself logs some stuff into it's own log.
