Do you think that UTF8 support in OCSP responder could be of use for some user cases which you are aware of?
I see the need for OpenSSL-0.9.8+, indeed is something I was working on
and some help is indeed welcome.
For UTF8 specific support I am not sure if this is really a problem as
the "hash shall be calculated over the DER encoding of the issuer's name
field in the certificate being checked..." therefore no specific code should
be used there.
Which are the functions you are planning to substitute for UTF-8 support ?
