Michael, Sorry, but I'm using Netscape and I get a similar error.
In IE I get the same error as Jeremie, in Netscape 4.7 I get a window flash up quickly and then disappear (too quick to see what's in it), in Netscape 6 or Mozilla I get the following javascript error message from the javascript console (nothing in netscape 4.7 console). Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED) [nsIDOMCrypto.signText]" nsresult: "0x80004001 (NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED)" location: "JS frame :: http://raserver/cgi-bin/RAServer?subj=Email%3Dpete.dewell%40volteurope.com%0D%0ACN%3DPete+Dewell%0D%0AOU ....more DN text &certtype=User+Certificate&key=5&dataType=PENDING_REQUEST&cmd=appReq&Submit=Approve+Request :: signForm :: line 10" data: no] I have managed to get the CA cert into the raserver OK (and into my browser), and issue a request for a user cert. The certificate appears the the Pending list, and when I go to approve the request the above happens. It's not just IE.
