Hello,
After installing the latest OpenCA snapshot (which resolves the problem of rebuilding the chain) I have the following problem when trying to issue the initial administrator certificate: Error 700 General error while issuing Certificate to CA-admin (file name /usr/local/OpenCA/var/tmp/01.req)
The apache error log tells Using configuration from /usr/local/OpenCA/etc/openssl/openssl/CA_operator.conf Check that the request matches the signature Signature ok The Subject's Distinguished Name is as follows countryName :PRINTABLE:'BE' organizationName :PRINTABLE:'Telindus High Tech Institute' organizationalUnitName :PRINTABLE:'Internet' commonName :PRINTABLE:'CA-admin' serialNumber :PRINTABLE:'01' ERROR: adding extensions in section default 8438:error:2207507C:X509 V3 routines:v2i_GENERAL_NAME:missing value:v3_alt.c:391: 8438:error:2206B080:X509 V3 routines:X509V3_EXT_conf:error in extension:v3_conf.c:92:name=subjectAltName, [EMAIL PROTECTED] unable to write 'random state' General Error Trapped 700: Error while issuing Certificate to CA-admin <BR><BR>(file name: /usr/local/OpenCA/var/tmp/01.req ) at /usr/local/OpenCA/lib/functions/misc-utils.lib line 38. Compilation failed in require at /usr/local/apache/cgi-bin/ca/ca line 193.
Do I need to change something in the openssl config file?? Or some other advice.
Thanks in advance, Iris
