This problem is my mistake. We changed the code for subject alternative 
names to support DNS and IP etc. in this extension too. So you must 
enter in the field subject alternative name 
"email:[EMAIL PROTECTED]". The complete explanation you can find in 
ftp://ftp.informatik.hu-berlin.de/local/OpenCA/doc/ or suse/ in the 
files OpenCA-guide.*

It was a more or less mistake of me because I don't mail this important 
change to the list.
