Dears,
I beleave that the bad boy Billy Gates has changed the design of IE 6.0.
His aim is to force everybody to use Microsofts Certification software.
If I test IE 6.0 together with openca three weeks ago, I turn on debugging.
On W2k Server you can see, that you need to program to register a dll.
Both the program and the dll you only got installed when you install Microsoft
Certificates Software.
Nearly the same thing on W2k professional (workstation). If you try only to
install the Microsoft certificate Software for clients, he will look for a
Microsoft Certificate Authority.
I use W2k with srvpack 2 and IE 6.0.
In the moment I have no time to verify that in more detail and to look for a
workaround, but perhaps in two weeks I will be back again on this problem.
Greetings
Harald
