Then what is LDAP used for?  I've been going off the configure.redhat
configs file.

Thanks for the pointer.  I'm stupid.  I didn't see the option in the
./configure file that explicitly says --enable-db \ --disable-dbi.

Thank you very much for your patience.  I'll let you know how it turns
out this time.
