There is a problem with the timestamps of the *.mo and *.po files. It looks like some implementations has problems with identical timestamps. The .mo-files must be newer then the .po files. Simply touch all .mo files and the problem should be fixed.make[9]: Entering directory `/usr/local/openca-0.9.1/src/common/lib/locale/de_DE' /usr/bin/install -c -c -o nobody -g nogroup -m 644 openca.mo /usr/local/OpenCA/ca/lib/locale/de_DE/LC_MESSAGES/openca.mo make[9]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/openca-0.9.1/src/common/lib/locale/de_DE' cd es_ES && make install make[9]: Entering directory `/usr/local/openca-0.9.1/src/common/lib/locale/es_ES' msgfmt -o openca.mo openca.po make[9]: msgfmt: Command not found make[9]: *** [openca.mo] Error 127
