Did you set "security profile" in Tools->Options, tab Secity, button Settings ?
Yes! I imported my own cert and use it for signature (via SHA1) and decryption (3DES - other algorithms don't change the problem).
Do you have CA cert in CAPI repository?
If CAPI is this thing where you get from IE / internetoptions / content / certificates - yes! I have our root-ca cert imported and I see also the cert of my sub-ca. All certificates are reported to be valid!
