Do there be two running processes after this openca_start? Sometimes you have old versions of the Perl module XML::Twig on your computer. If this happens then the XML cache of OpenCA fails and returns an empty string. Such a login type doesn't exist of course. If there is already an installed version of XML::Twig on your computer then please ensure that it is not older then the version in the source tree of OpenCA (src/modules).
