Hallo Jonathan,
uhh - I actually dont know if Michael fixed the Script for the 0.9.1x Tree - the secclab JS in the 0.9.2 tree is working...
I will send you my Script via PM
Me too ;-)
We are having problems with the Seclab as well. It seems that the nsCLASBSignString funktion searches for a certificate with a usage that is not inside the certificates created by default Openssl configurtaion of OpenCA. We tried to fix this, but didn't yet succeed. Actually we are not sure what the "4" as third parameter of the function picker->PickByUsage means. Is it a bitfield value? or the fifth position in an ENUM?
If testing the library outside of OpenCA (by using the html example form) we get the error
nsICLABSignString.signString ns result code 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) location JS frame:: SignString line 155 data:no.
We are experimenting with 0.9.2 RC3.
Any help welcome.
Cheers,
Peter

Their are two different implementations for FormSigning - the "old"

The FormSigning of OpenCA works only with the secclab methods
Interesting, looking at the code for the signing (signForm.js) it's using
crypto.signText.
Is there a patch to make this use the secclab implementation?
The only thing I can find in the docs about this is:-
"There is a second fix for this problem secclab. This is plugin which is
available from mozdev.org but until now it is not stable enough to be
supported from us. If it is stable and Mozilla still doesn't support
crypto.signFrom then we will support secclab."
