Are you sure?  I don't want email addresses in certificates, but I do
want to use the email address from the CSR to generate new mails.

(I guess you mean DN_WITHOUT_EMAIL?  I have it set to "yes" in my
ca.conf and ra.conf, which is how it has to be in my case).

I'll have a look around the code, it can't be too difficult to use the
address from the CSR when generating emails on the CA machine.

Ideally I'd like to have the CSR email address used when you click on
the "send email" button from the RA certificate view, but I think that
would be more difficult.
