In a special case the embedded serialNumber causes problems, because the DN is used to identify a user/client and the access software on the other side doesn't accept a serialNumber in the DN. Here my questions: 1. Is a serialnumber in the DN necessary for openca Certificates? 2. If not, what do I have to do to make the serialnumber disappear?
