just my EUR 0.02, but PKIX RFC 3280 (Page 18) demands UTF8String
in certificates, ISIS-MTT allows UTF8String or PrintableString
for certs issues after Dec 31 2003.

As many client applications do not support UTF8 properly, this is
probably currently not too useful, but a clear migration path towards
UTF8 should be in the queue.
