OK, let me try one more time. I have a problem with the way OpenCA is
applying RFC2253 and Windows XP Professional. I'm attempting to use
OpenCA to manager certificates for EAP-TLS authentication. The
problem is, the CN must match the Windows login name exactly and we
have login names in the form of "Lastname, Firstname MI". So, when
OpenCA applies RFC2253 escaping for the comma in the name, Windows
doesn't recognize the certficate as sutible for network
authentication.
you may change the the corresponding code-stuff - where the replacing
regex ist situated... but
but maybe , will cause problems with openssl - did u try to issue a
openssl cert with those cns?
