There are none:

 # pwd
 /var/www/htdocs/batch
 # ls
 default.css  index.html.template  menu-openca.css
 images       main-openca.css      scripts

> any hints on a parser error in the XML part alreayd (topmost error)

Also there are none:

 # sh configure_etc.sh | head
 =================================================================
 fixing directory: /usr/local/OpenCA/etc
 =================================================================
 -------------begin file-----------------
 template: ./backup.xml.template
 target: ./backup.xml
 Error:
 Message:
 --------------end file------------------
 -------------begin file-----------------

..nor is there any stderr:

 # sh configure_etc.sh 1>/dev/null 2>err.txt
 # cat err.txt
 #

I noticed in the OpenCA Guides for 0.9.2+
<http://www.openca.org/openca/docs/online/ch01.html#id2816595> it is
mentioned that:

 " Gettext causes sometimes trouble because version 1.0.0 has a
different export behaviour than 1.0.1. The result of this small "bug" is
that OpenCA doesn't work with gettext 1.0.0. Please update your gettext
or remove it from the system."

.. so I upgraded my existing version 1.01-r1 to version 1.03 (through
portage). Unfortunately that didn't help.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Thanks,
Nate
