Hi Juergen,

This error can happen when the DN contains the characters
,=+<>#;

Internally these characters must be quoted with a backslash, but it
seems that this does not happen everywhere.

This might be a point - I recognized that the DN contains an empty attribute, so "ST=,C=DE" - might be that this is the problem... So I will re-request a correct CSR from the admins and we should perhaps fix this...
