Pablo,

1. Several languages (Spanish including) have partial translation. Non-translated items are shown in English.
The reason for this is people's laziness.

2. If you want to contribute to translation, there is an
excellent README called "I18N" (in the root directory of the sources) from M.Bell about how to do it.

3. If you switch languages during the session, only one (active) frame of your page follows your choice. You have to reload other frames to see new language there too. E.g. click on the menu, and newly opened frame will be in a new lang. This feature is usually seen during learning stage of a newcomer. During practical work people usually use one and the same language from the very beginning.

This is the reason, why you can see German at the same time with Hispano-English "Spanish" texts in different parts of your screen.

Regards, Sergei

Hi all,
I'm having some problems with the i18n support of OpenCA. The version
used is 0.9.2.4++ on Debian GNU/Linux (Testing).

My problems are related to the parcial translate of the web pages. I'm
interested in Spanish Lang, and some resultant pages are some things in
English and some in Spanish (My configuration file has
- --with-language=es_ES). But if I check the German lang aditionally, some
things are in German (only a bit), some in Spanish, and others in English.

My Debian installation includes all lang locales posibilities, and I
try with Openca default_language variable equal to C, es_ES and en_GB.

Other things I'm interesting in are: Why some variables on openca.po in
Spanish translation aren't translated?. I'm thinking there is a related
problem to old translations. If I run the OpenCA with a correct i18n
support for some languages, Can I translate them to Spanish?.

The last thing I'm interested in is: Is there any method to change the
main Menu translation to other languages dynamically?

        Thanx.
