Hi,
i´ve managed to set up openCA 0.9.2.2 with ldap, mysql and apache.
Everything (CA/RA) is on one machine, but that´s just for demonstration
issues and i will hardly get another system to set it up in a
distributed manner.
So far, it seems to be functional. But when I´m doing a request for a
certificate, approve that request and issue the certificate, i can´t get
it as user using the request´s serial. Nothing happens, but in my
stderr.log i see something like this everytime i try to get the certificate:
DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Unknown system variable 'NAMES'
at /usr/share/perl5/OpenCA/DBI.pm line 2652.
Mysql seems to be ok, as i can check by hand the table with
certificates,crls,crrs and so on. The certificates are there, but i
can´t access them from the web-interface.
Here the steps i did:
1. [pub] User->Request a Certificate->Basic Request
2. [pub] Fill in data (except IP/DNS), send request out, note request serial
3. [ca] Active CSRs->New->select request with proper serial
4. [ca] Edit request, set expire period, submit, issue certificate
5. [pub] User->Get Requested Certificate
6. [pub] Select "Request´s Serial" and enter the proper serial
7. [pub] page reloaded, nothing happened, log contains error
Any ideas?
Greetings,
Maximilian Schmidt
