Hi all, Dear Monke, I'm fully agree about documentation, it is outdated and unfinished.
As about compile problem, I've found the solution for that problem recently. I'm using OpenCA 0.9.3 and week or so ago I've tried to install newer version. I've got same error as you. Try to configure with --with-node-prefix=node and then run make and install. By the way, first you need to install and configure offline (CA) side and only then - online (RA). Good luck!
