Hello Erik,

so far I have an Ubuntu 9.10 ... do you know when the new Ubuntu release
will be available ? I need it in order to be able to provide a binary
package for it.

Anyhow, the source code version should work fine.. the installation script
is definitely better than the old one :)

For the guide, I am not sure what you mean by a "strictly offline" usage
of pub,ra, and ca nodes. The pub and ra are meant to be used "online",
while the CA offline... in the sense it should be run on a computer/node
that does not provide access from public network(s) (eg., Internet).

While configuring OpenCA, you can have:
- all the interfaces on a single node, no data-exchange to be in place and
  a shared DB;

- online interfaces on one node and the offline interfaces on another,
  dataexchange in place, separated DB for the two different nodes

- online interfaces on one node and offline interfaces on another,
  no dataexchange in place, shared DB (even on a 3rd node)

Do you mean something like this ? A "checklist" type of guide for installation
with different options ?

Cheers,
Max

Hello,

Could you please make a binary package for the new upcoming Ubuntu LTS
10.04 and perhaps this time a full guide to the installation (including
apache configuration) for strictly offline usage of pub, ra and CA node?
It would help out a lot if there was a proper guide.
