The CA doesn't use the value of "operator=...". The CA takes the
information about the signer (the RA Operator) directly from the PKCS#7
signature.
I don't know which version you are using but the last SNAPSHOT 20001121
has a bug in the verification code. Because we are coming very close to
a new snapshot with a completely changed structure we don't publish
publish patches to the old snapshot. Patching in the new structure is
much easier ;-)
