Well, I'm comparing the Litronic native driver under Win2000, to not using
OCF with the same program (I have a dummy implementation of my objects which
lets me read and write from files rather than from the card, thus
eliminating OCF).

The VM is Microsoft's.  There are no infinite loops in my code (I would have
known that).
I will try it with PCSC instead.
