Well let me refrase that statement. I meant that you
can't cd into a directory with longer than 6 chars
from the command prompt in WinNT 4 unless you, after
the 6 chars, use a ~1. So if from the command prompt
you try to cd Program Files it returns a invalid
parameters error, on the other hand if you type cd
Progra~1 it works. Thus, I had to use that convention
in order for my javax.comm.properties file to work
correctly.
