Hi Everybody,
I have a question related to JAVA CARD, since I feel most of you are
familiar with the JAVA CARD as well, I thought of posting the question to
this forum.
We are working on smart card applications( both the card and Terminal). we
are trying to develop a small purse application which has minimum
functionalities like credit , debit and get balance.
The samples which are available as part of the java card development kit,
dont contain any file related API calls.
Also I found that classes like ElementaryFile, DedicatedFile, CyclicFile,
File, FileSystem, LinearFile, LinearFixedFile...etc
(which are part of javacard.framework package in javacard 2.0 APIs)are
missing in Java card 2.1.1 APIs.
My question is
Were these FIle system related APIs removed from the 2.1.1APIs ?
If yes, How to create the files, read & write from them?
If no, Why doesnt the API document which comes along with the development
kit, contain these APIs ???
