Not strange at all! Instead, how strange that you expect the results of a
great deal of technical and administrative work to be given to you for free,
when it is done for your benefit as much as for anyone else's benefit.
Most of the income received by the national standards organisations comes
from the sale of standards documents.
Do you yourself participate in the work of your national standards
organisation, AFNOR?
